About Cave Vineyard
April-October: Everyday 10am-6pm
November-March: Everyday 10am-5pm
Cave Vineyard is a very unique winery in that it has its own Saltpeter Cave, named by early French settlers, for guests to explore. However, after visiting the vineyard you will find that it is heavily influenced by Italian customs and traditions passed down by the family. One of their most iconic traditions is the biscotti bar. They pride themselves on making everything from the freshest ingredients. While there is no formal menu, Cave Vineyards offers a selection of locally produced cheese and sausage, freshly baked bread in the summer and fall, wine and seasonal beer, and they are soon to open a distillery where spirits will be offered.
The Upsides
- Guests are allowed to bring a picnic or have one made up

- Pet friendly (outside of the cave)
- Loft to look over the production floor for education
- On site parking available
The Downsides
- No formal menu
- The nearest lodging is 20 minutes (15 miles) away from the vineyard
